**Job Summary**
As a Customer Experience Associate I, Healthcare, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding service to internal and external customers, handling incoming and outgoing calls related to healthcare benefits, and administering intake documentation into our systems. You'll work closely with our team to identify and respond to crisis calls, facilitate routine referrals, and provide comprehensive support to our members and providers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Research and articulate medical information regarding various services, including claims, member eligibility, benefits, EAP services, claim status, and authorization inquiries, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Protected Health Information (PHI) guidelines.
* Meet key performance indicators and service standards while demonstrating compassion and empathy to our members and providers.
* Identify and respond to crisis calls with appropriate resources.
* Facilitate routine referrals and triage decisions that don't require clinical judgment.
* Comprehensively assemble and enter patient information into our delivery systems.
* Demonstrate flexibility in job duties and schedule to better serve our members and support arenaflex's business and operational goals.
* Support team members and participate in activities to build a high-performance team.
* Assume full responsibility for self-development and career progression, seeking ongoing training sessions and staying up-to-date on operational changes.
* Identify and bring to the attention of responsible entities operations problems and/or inefficiencies to continuously improve our services.
* Lead or participate in activities to improve Care Center performance, quality, and culture.
* Navigate arenaflex's systems, document customers' comments/information, and forward required information.
* Read and retain information disseminated through multiple resources to ensure accurate and appropriate calls.
**Essential Qualifications**
* 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
* Ability to talk and type simultaneously with attention to detail.
* Flexibility in scheduling and comfort with change, as customer service is an ever-changing environment.
* Meeting monthly individual call center metrics.
* Agreement to recording and evaluations for training and compliance.
* Proficiency with keyboard functions and navigation between multiple computer applications.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Call center experience in healthcare.
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
* Relevant certifications or licenses.
