We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data and Analytics Consultant to join our Medicaid Coordination of Benefits (COB) team. About the Role: Data and Analytics Consultant As a Data and Analytics Consultant at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our Medicaid Coordination of Benefits team. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the accuracy of primary insurance carrier information for Medicaid beneficiaries, which is essential for proper claims processing and payment coordination. This role is fundamental to our operations, as accurate COB data directly impacts healthcare reimbursement, reduces billing errors, and ensures that members receive the benefits they are entitled to receive. You will leverage your analytical expertise and technical skills to support the daily functions of the COB team through comprehensive data analysis. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to our coordination of benefits operations: • Data Accuracy Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of primary insurance carrier information for Medicaid beneficiaries, reviewing and validating data to prevent billing errors and ensure proper claims processing. • Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement within the COB function. • System Support: Utilize QNXT platform and SQL Server Management Studio to query, analyze, and manipulate data sets as needed for operational support and special projects. • Process Optimization: Apply independent thinking and analytical skills to develop solutions for complex data challenges and improve workflow efficiency. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate benefits activities and resolve issues. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of data analysis findings, process changes, and operational improvements. • Communication: Effectively communicate analytical findings, recommendations, and insights to stakeholders at various levels of the organization. What We’re Looking For: Required Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. Degrees in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or related fields are highly preferred. • Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to work with complex data sets and derive meaningful insights. • Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with Medicaid Coordination of Benefits (COB) concepts and regulations is essential for this role. • System Expertise: Proficiency in QNXT platform and SQL Server Management Studio is required.
