The role involves contributing to the design and execution of handbags and accessories from concept through development, ensuring alignment with brand standards and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Concept and design products from start to finish, including artwork and hardware development
- Create prints, graphics, embroidery, and embellishment layouts for handbags, accessories, and patches
- Partner with Founders and Design team to develop seasonal concepts, materials, and color direction
- Ensure all design details are clearly handed off to Product Development within deadlines
- Maintain design integrity and ensure high-quality execution across all products
- Research trends, shop market, and identify relevant design opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support development timelines and deliverables
Skills
- Open to fresh grads or 1-2 years of experience designing handbags and/or accessories
- Strong understanding of materials, hardware, leather, and construction
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ability to create technical sketches and design layouts
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
