Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory treatability studies associated with site characterization and remediation projects for government and private-sector clients
- Interact with Jacobs’ technical experts to develop field sampling and test plans
- Execute the tests, coordinating between project, analytical laboratory, and vendor groups to ensure high-quality delivery of test results
- Plot incoming data and analyze it to see the story come together
- Showcase work through project updates, technical reports, presentations, and sometimes a journal publication
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering), Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geology, or Hydrogeology
- Valid drivers license is required
- United States Citizenship required
- Must be local to Bellevue, WA
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and in a regionally-diverse team environment
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to mentally walk through a process to identify and close gaps in written procedures for non-standard tasks to ensure all objectives will be met
- Familiarity with standard environmental test methods and procedures
- 40-hr HAZWOPER certification or the ability to attain this certification
