Job Description
We are building a high-performing team of Environmental & Social (E&S) Experts to support a large-scale, multi-year program aligned with international development finance institutions. This opportunity involves working on diverse global projects requiring rapid mobilization, technical excellence, and strict compliance with international environmental and social standards.
Selected professionals will contribute to screening, due diligence, monitoring, and advisory services across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, mining, telecommunications, agriculture, and healthcare.
Deliverables
Screening memos and red-flag reports
Due diligence and gap analysis reports
Monitoring reports and corrective action plans
Technical assessments
Training materials and SOPs
Monthly progress reports
Participation in kickoff and coordination meetings
Execution Model
Task Order-based assignments (defined scope, timeline, and budget per task)
Combination of remote work and international field missions
High standards for quality, speed, and compliance
This recruitment is in support of an upcoming proposal submission for a large international program. All positions are contingent upon contract award and client approval. Candidates may be contacted during the proposal phase and, if selected, engaged upon successful award.
Qualifications
1. Senior Environmental & Social Specialist
Experience: 10+ years (DFI/MDB project experience required)
Expertise:IFC Performance Standards
Environmental & Social Policies and Procedures (ESPP)
Complex due diligence (resettlement, biodiversity, labor, stakeholder engagement, cumulative impacts, Indigenous Peoples)
Education: Master’s degree or higher preferred
2. Environmental & Social Specialist
Experience: 5+ years
Expertise:Environmental impact assessments
Environmental & social management plans
Sector-specific risk analysis
Education: Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred
3. Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
Experience: 12+ years
Expertise Areas May Include:
Biodiversity, climate change, resettlement, air/water quality, social risk, technical risk (e.g., HAZOP, QRA)
Education: Advanced degree preferred
All candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
All candidates must have experience in at least one of the following sectors:
Oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, telecom, agriculture, healthcare
Additional Requirements
