**Job Summary**
We're seeking a part-time, remote Chat Support Specialist – Community Moderator to join our team. As a Community Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our online platforms, including our Discord server, by enforcing community guidelines, investigating reports, and providing exceptional customer support. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Chat Support Specialist – Community Moderator, you'll be responsible for:
* Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring a positive and respectful environment for all users
* Deleting messages that violate our community guidelines
* Banning users with multiple and repeat violations of our community guidelines
* Muting users who have violated our community guidelines
* Investigating reports made by users about violations of our community guidelines
* Providing exceptional customer support to users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community moderation and customer support
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* To be at least 18 years old
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Familiarity with Discord and other online community platforms
* Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite
**Preferred Qualifications**
