**Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Client / Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
* Registering sales on assigned cash register and providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
* Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
* Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
* Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
* Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service
* Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested
* Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records
* Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader
* Performing duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying medicine
* Reporting prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhering to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program
* Handling telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians
* Processing manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner
* Assisting and supporting Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals
* Maintaining knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and filing claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs
* Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
* Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
* Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
* Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine
* Suggestive selling of promotional photo products
* Assumming web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or pharmacy technician training preferred
* 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail or healthcare setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
