**Key Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Customer Service and Sales Professional at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing fast, friendly service to customers, actively seeking out opportunities to assess their needs and provide assistance
* Learning about products and services using our tools and resources, and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
* Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department, as well as handling basics in adjacent departments
* Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
* Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
* Participating in sales initiatives and promotions to drive sales growth and meet sales targets
* Building strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues to drive business growth and customer satisfaction

As an Experienced Customer Service and Sales Professional, you may work in one or more of the following departments:
* Building Materials
* Décor
* Electrical
* Flooring
* Garden
* Hardware
* Kitchen & Bath
* Lumber
* Millwork
* Paint
* Plumbing
* Tool Rental
**Sales Position Types:**
You may be assigned to one or more of the following sales position types:
* Department Sales
* Lead Generator
* Pro Account Sales
* Sales Specialist
* Special Services
* Customer Order Specialist
**Essential Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues
* Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new products and services
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
**Preferred Qualifications:**
