**Experienced Customer Service Representative – Utility Services and Billing Operations**

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible service, while also contributing to the smooth operation of our utility services and billing operations. **Job Summary:** We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Experienced Customer Service Representative. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving complaints, and processing utility payments and applications. If you're passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and have a strong background in clerical work, we encourage you to apply. **Work Environment and Schedule:** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll work in a fast-paced office environment, Monday through Friday, from 7:45am to 4:45pm. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our utility services and billing operations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints concerning utility bills * Receive, open, and process mail, including utility payments and applications * Process customer utility payments through cash registers and balance cash registers and cash boxes daily * Prepare and process accounts for utility billing, including taking requests for letters of credit * Maintain landlord and rental property files, as well as active utility files * Interview the public on matters requiring the interpretation of office policies and procedures * Process customer applications for utility services * Perform related duties as required **Essential Qualifications:** * High school education or equivalent is required * Experience in clerical work involving considerable contact with the public and handling money is preferred * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues * Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and adapt to changing priorities * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Ability to learn and apply new skills and knowledge, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working in a utility services or billing operations environment * Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment * Ability to perform a variety of clerical tasks, such as typing, filing, balancing, etc. * Ability to make decisions in accordance with office policies and regulations * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues * Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and adapt to changing priorities * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Ability to learn and apply new skills and knowledge, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
