**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a data engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our business operations and drive business insights and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions that meet their needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Designs and builds large-scale data pipelines and systems to support business operations and drive business insights and decision-making
* Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions that meet their needs
* Develops and maintains data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business analytics and reporting
* Works with data scientists and business stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business insights and decision-making
* Develops and maintains ETL/ELT processes using Informatica Cloud (IICS) and other data integration tools
* Utilizes Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Databricks, and other cloud-based data storage and processing technologies to improve and accelerate data delivery
* Develops and maintains large-scale data processing systems using NoSQL databases and other data processing technologies
* Identifies and implements process improvements to automate manual processes and improve data delivery
* Develops and maintains data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
* Communicates technical ideas to non-technical audiences through written and verbal presentations
* Performs peer reviews of other data engineers' work
**Requirements**
* 2+ years of experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets
* 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IICS
* 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-based data storage and processing technologies, including ADLS, Azure Databricks, and other cloud-based data storage and processing technologies
* 2+ years of experience working with data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing
* 2+ years of hands-on experience with data integration tools, including ETL and ELT processes
* Strong understanding of database management concepts, including data lakes, social data sets, NoSQL, schema, and data warehousing
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Microsoft Azure certifications
* Experience developing data-driven solutions through agile software development methodologies
* Familiarity with the retail industry and its data management challenges
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical audiences
* Experience working with SAP integration tools, including Bodies
* Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler
