About the Role: Marketing Strategy Manager
We're seeking an accomplished Marketing Strategy Manager to join our Verizon Value Marketing organization. As a key member of the Value Marketing Strategy and Operations team, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic plans that drive growth within Verizon Value. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with Marketing Leadership, including the CMO and Marketing Directors, to craft near-term and long-term Marketing roadmaps, strategic decisions, and recommendations that deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business growth and stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new opportunities, leveraging market insights and data-driven analysis.
- Provide thought leadership and recommendations to senior leaders on relevant marketing topics, backed by objective, clear, and impactful analysis.
- Support the strategic planning process for marketing and drive its implementation across operational activities, including capital allocation, budgeting, and portfolio strategy.
- Develop structured, short-term, and long-term perspectives for key marketing campaigns and channels, with a strong focus on innovation and disruption.
- Translate strategy into key initiatives that deliver results, working closely with Verizon Value functional teams to ensure marketing strategy aligns with business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams within marketing to drive initiatives and business results, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Partner with Verizon Value and Marketing partner leadership to identify and conceptualize new opportunities that advance business goals.
- Support preparation of strategy presentations for major Governance meetings, developing effective and compelling presentations.

You're a marketing professional with a passion for strategy and innovation. You're intellectually curious, always seeking to understand the 'why' behind consumer behavior and brand decisions. You possess a unique blend of skills and experience that enable you to drive business growth through creative and effective marketing strategies.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience in marketing strategy, general strategy, consulting, or a similar field.
- Willingness to travel approximately up to 25%.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with robust financial modeling skills and the ability to perform and review quantitative analysis with relative autonomy.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and present complex ideas with clarity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or an MBA.
- Two or more years of experience in marketing strategy, general strategy, consulting, or similar experience.
- Background in driving telecom sales, subscriptions, technology sales, and/or advertising.
- Experience in strategic thinking, with the ability to analyze data to make informed business decisions and shape strategy.
- Experience in analyzing marketing and industry trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing strategies to capitalize on them.
- Experience in supporting executive-level communications in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to lead through influence and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
