**Job Summary**
We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Medical Claims Data Entry Specialist to join our Data Entry Operations Team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering source claim documents, resolving discrepancies, and upholding compliance with contractual obligations. This is a temporary position from January to June 2025, with a flexible schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
**Responsibilities**
As a Part-Time Medical Claims Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Working within the Data Entry Operations Team to enter source claim documents by reviewing and correcting data deficiencies
* Maintaining a production-paced work environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
* Adhering to company policy and maintaining attendance to meet individual KPIs for data entered
* Delivering high-quality results consistently and maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information
* Meeting individual deadlines and managing time effectively to complete tasks
* Collaborating with colleagues to resolve discrepancies and uphold compliance with contractual obligations
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school education or equivalent
* Knowledge of recognition software and/or other data entry systems (preferred)
* 1 year of experience in data entry or a related production-oriented field (preferred)
* The ability to key a minimum of 9,000 keystrokes per hour while maintaining a 99% accuracy rate
* Punctuality and attendance are critical in this position
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Basic PC skills required
* Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
* Microsoft Office skills, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word
