**Job Summary**
As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, providing expert advice on print, signs & graphics, and shipping services, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure that they are satisfied with our services. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining a wide variety of equipment, moving boxes and equipment, stocking materials, managing the production queue and output, managing complex projects, managing retail supply, and completing assigned tasks based on priority.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing expert advice on print, signs & graphics, and shipping services
* Work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure that they are satisfied with our services
* Operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, including printing, binding, and other related equipment
* Move boxes and equipment, stock materials, manage the production queue and output, manage complex projects, and manage retail supply
* Complete assigned tasks based on priority, including taking orders, coordinating activities in the store, providing pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services
* Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store, including cleaning, repairing, and stocking all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies
* Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change
* Follow FedEx Office standard operating procedures, as well as adhere to legal, HR, safety, customer service, and security policies and procedures
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent education
* 6+ months of specialized experience in a retail or customer service environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
* Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the FedEx Office business
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment
* Knowledge of print, signs & graphics, and shipping services
* Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
* Ability to operate a Point of Sale terminal (POS) and process financial transactions
* Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and move boxes and equipment
