As a User Support Specialist (Live Chat), you'll be part of a high-impact team dedicated to delivering exceptional support to our growing user base. We're passionate about enabling independent expression and building a better business model for creators. **Responsibilities** As a User Support Specialist (Live Chat), you'll be responsible for providing friendly, expert support to arenaflex creators and their subscribers via email and live chat. Your day-to-day will consist of: * Providing live chat coverage for up to (but no more than) 50% of your time (or 4 hours per shift) * Attending daily team meetings and contributing to team operations (up to 20% of your time) * Remaining time will be spent providing support via email * Collaborating closely with Support team and other colleagues across the company to solve user concerns effectively and efficiently * Demonstrating urgency and discernment when escalating user issues and feedback to Engineering, Product, and other teams * Being a frequent user of the arenaflex app and staying informed about product and company updates **Requirements** We're looking for a talented individual who: * Loves helping people and finds it rewarding to solve their problems * Is a great communicator, both in speech and writing * Is comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced startup environment * Has 2+ years of experience working with Support, Engineering, and/or Product teams, including experience with live channels * Can provide solutions for a wide variety of technical support challenges * Aligns with arenaflex's mission to build a new economic engine for culture and has experience as a arenaflex subscriber (experience as a creator is a plus!) * Has experience with Zendesk and Stripe (a plus) * Has direct experience with coding languages (JavaScript and HTML) and third-party APIs (Stripe) (a plus) **Essential Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong analytical and technical skills * Experience with live channels and technical support software * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with coding languages (JavaScript and HTML) and third-party APIs (Stripe) * Experience with Zendesk and Stripe * Direct experience working with Support, Engineering, and/or Product teams **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
