Financial Assistant

Edison Media Ltd is a client-first agency specializing in innovative marketing strategies. They are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support the finance department by managing bookkeeping duties and assisting in the production of financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the processing of financial documents such as sales invoices, purchase invoices and bank statements
• Take charge of reconciling accounts transactions such as receipts, payments and credit card transactions
• Assist in the maintenance of accurate, up-to-date financial records electronically
• Assisting the FM with the production of high quality financial reports, including monthly management accounts and department spending analysis
• Other adhoc duties as assigned

Skills

• Previous experience in an accounts role in either practice or industry
• Strong mathematical skills and familiarity with accounting software such as Microsoft Excel, Xero, Dext
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality due to exposure to sensitive information
• Eagerness to learn and grow as part of a highly motivated team
