Develop and implement a global IT audit strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Lead and manage a team of IT auditors, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of audit projects.
Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential vulnerability or improvement within the company's IT systems, processes, and controls.
Partner with key stakeholders, including IT leaders and business unit leaders, to understand their needs and priorities and ensure the IT audit function meets their requirements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
Monitor and assess changes in the IT landscape, including emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, and adjust the IT audit strategy accordingly.
Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the company's IT controls and processes, identifying weaknesses and recommending improvements.
Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to senior management and the Audit Committee, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the IT audit function, leveraging data analytics and other tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay current on industry trends and developments in IT auditing and maintain relevant certifications to ensure the company remains compliant with regulatory requirements.
Lead and participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance the company's IT governance and risk management processes.
Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on IT audit matters, providing guidance and training to other departments as needed.
