Technical Recruiter (Manufacturing & Skilled Trades)

We are a growing recruiting firm focused on manufacturing, engineering, automation, skilled trades, and industrial operations talent across the U.S. We partner with companies ranging from startups to established manufacturers to help fill critical technical and production-related positions. We are looking for an experienced independent recruiter who can operate autonomously, source strong candidates quickly, and help fill high-priority roles in manufacturing and engineering environments. FEE SPLIT 50/50 What You’ll Recruit For Typical roles include • Controls Technicians / PLC Technicians • Industrial Maintenance Technicians • Mechanical & Electrical Engineers • Quality Assurance Specialists • Manufacturing Supervisors • Field Install Leads • Skilled Trades & Production Leadership roles Responsibilities • Source, recruit, and qualify candidates for technical and manufacturing positions • Manage candidate pipelines and maintain communication throughout the process • Conduct recruiter screenings and evaluate technical fit • Present qualified candidates with detailed notes and summaries • Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand hiring needs • Utilize creative sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates • Maintain professionalism and urgency throughout the recruiting process Requirements • Prior recruiting experience in manufacturing, engineering, skilled trades, or industrial staffing • Strong sourcing and candidate evaluation skills • Ability to work independently in a remote 1099 environment • Excellent communication and follow-up skills • Experience recruiting for technical or hard-to-fill roles preferred • Must have your own recruiting tools and resources, including: • LinkedIn Recruiter, job board access, ATS, or other sourcing platforms • Personal computer, phone, and reliable internet connection • Ability to independently source and manage candidates Compensation • 1099 Independent Contractor • Commission Only • High earning potential based on successful placements • Flexible remote work environment • Opportunity for long-term partnership and consistent requisitions Ideal Recruiter • Self-motivated and resourceful • Comfortable working independently • Strong sense of urgency • Able to recruit high-quality candidates in competitive markets • Experienced with manufacturing, engineering, automation, or industrial environments Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
