SCAN is a nonprofit health organization dedicated to improving care for older adults. The Health Care Analyst I role involves maintaining the Encounter Data Processing System, designing analytic reports, and ensuring data accuracy while supporting the Encounter Data team and Health Care Informatics department.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and enhancements to the Encounter Data Processing System database and supporting EDI, ETL and SSIS jobs
- Perform maintenance and enhancements to BI Dashboards and reports developed using Power BI, Snowflake and SQL server reporting services
- Perform technical analysis and data mining for encounter data reporting requests from internal and external customers
- Support internal and external integration channels to the Encounter Data Processing System to ensure data interchange meets technical expectations and criteria
- Ensure the validity of all encounter data processing and accuracy of all reporting produced by the encounter data team via technical quality control measurements and practices
- Responsibilities include literature review, data management, and other related duties incidental to the work described herein
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by conducting research and by attending educational workshops
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing and sharing related results with other staff

Skills
- Associate degree but Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 0-3 years of related experience
- Performs work under minimal supervision
