The Role
Riplz is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Development Representative to support pipeline growth by generating qualified discovery calls with ecommerce store owners and operators. This role begins on a part-time basis, with a clear path to full-time engagement as the relationship develops and performance goals are met. The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial mindset, thrives in early-stage environments, and is energized by the opportunity to help shape a company from the ground up.
Responsibilities
• Identify, prospect, and qualify ecommerce brands (Shopify and DTC) to secure discovery calls with key decision-makers
• Deploy AI-powered tools to personalize outreach at scale and maximize pipeline velocity
• Develop and iterate on multi-channel outreach sequences across email, LinkedIn, and phone
• Track, analyze, and report on outreach activity and conversion metrics to continuously improve performance
• Contribute ideas and feedback to help shape outreach strategy — this is a role where your input will be heard and acted upon
Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role
• Prior experience prospecting into ecommerce businesses, with a working understanding of the DTC and Shopify ecosystem
• Proficiency with AI-driven sales tools such as ChatGPT, Clay, Apollo, or comparable platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling outreach
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine interest in joining early-stage companies and contributing beyond a defined job description
• Comfortable operating with autonomy in a lean, fast-moving environment where processes are still being built
