Centric Software Visual Boards Pre-Sales Consultant Role
The main role of the consultant will be to support the Sales Process by demonstrating the Centric Visual Boards system business value and gaining the technology buy-in from the prospective customer. It is a Pre-Sales Consultant position.
The consultant will need to perform all Pre-Sales activities required to sell Centric Solution to customers. The goal is to have the consultant self-sufficient as much as possible and ultimately become a Centric product expert.
This means a mix of both business and strong technical consulting skills to:
Analyze/understand business process with a strategic lens that understands the full picture (process teams, & systems)
Analyze/understand business requirements (process / use cases flow mapped to software features)
Understand the software product fully and the applicability to the industry.
Translate user requirements into user stories that add value to the application.
Define and configure the product to be self-sufficient.
Demonstrate the system in pre-sales situation, including personalizing it for the prospect with their data and processes.
Respond to RFPs and RFIs
Build a Statement of Work with services estimates.
Create ROIs for prospects.
Conduct IT architecture and HW&SW requirement discussions, including hosting options.
Provide feedback to Product Management teams for customer and prospect enhancements.
Work with Marketing to help promote the solution through webinars, white papers, etc.
In addition:
Facilitate the ‘Art of the Possible’
Build and deliver ‘Pure Points of View’ (compelling C-level story and value statements demonstrating potential relevance of Pure to the customer).
Drive big deal thinking, best practice sharing and extended team collaboration.
Increase the value for delivery of complex solutions by ensuring key VP and CXO stakeholders are fully engaged and aware of the value.
The Consultant should have academic skills in computer science making him/her comfortable with database and recent enterprise system technologies although the position does not require full time programming skills.
The consultant will be managed by the Technical Director. They will have access to the Worldwide team as well as US based Corporate to support him for customer situations.
In addition to supporting customer deployments the consultant may be involved in some post-sales situation to help with project activities.
Centric is aggressively penetrating the PLM market, so a “sales” attitude will be requested to professionally advertise Centric’s confidence to provide value to their customers. The ability to deal with customers and handle customer situation alone as much as possible will be key.
Centric is a growing company requiring from consultants a real sense of initiative and autonomy to deal with everyday situation. The candidate will have to be comfortable working alone with clear project success goals, without permanent supervision.
Significant travelling is expected to visit customer mostly within the region, although some international travel will be required. A valid Passport or Visa will be necessary.
Profile:
The Candidate should possess:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Significant experience at large software ERP, Supply Chain, PLM vendor (with similar pre-sales role). Specifically, system demonstrations and presentation skills are needed.
Experience in the industry
Excellent Presentation and Communication skills
Technical Skills are a plus: E.g., Windows server environment, Web Application server (WildFly, Tomcat), XML programming, HTML, JavaScript, Databases (MSSQL, Oracle), and knowledge of Virtual Machines.
