Product Manager with Retail, E-commerce, or Digital Platform Exp | Remote

Job Title: Product Manager Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager to lead the brand migration and unification of multiple retail brands onto a single digital platform. This role will be responsible for partnering with cross-brand stakeholders, defining product vision, translating complex business requirements into actionable user stories, and driving seamless platform standardization while preserving brand-specific differentiation. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator, possesses deep retail and digital product experience, and has a proven ability to manage large-scale platform transformations across multiple business units. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Vision • Define and execute the product roadmap for a unified digital platform supporting multiple retail brands. • Drive the brand migration strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer experience standards, and platform scalability. • Balance standardization vs. brand-specific customization to maintain a consistent yet flexible customer experience. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration • Partner with brand leaders, business stakeholders, merchandising, marketing, and technology teams to gather and refine requirements. • Act as a central point of coordination across multiple brands, ensuring alignment and prioritization of features. • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and cross-functional discussions to define product capabilities and scope. Requirement Gathering & Story Writing • Translate business requirements into clearly defined epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria. • Maintain and prioritize a product backlog aligned to business value and platform roadmap. • Ensure stories are well-defined, testable, and aligned with Agile/Scrum frameworks. Platform Migration & Execution • Lead the end-to-end migration of brands from legacy platforms to the unified digital platform. • Identify dependencies, risks, and constraints during migration and proactively drive mitigation strategies. • Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to ensure scalable and reusable solutions. Customer Experience & Optimization • Advocate for customer-centric design, ensuring seamless omni-channel experiences across brands. • Leverage data, insights, and analytics to continuously optimize user journeys and improve conversion and engagement. • Ensure consistency in UX/UI patterns while enabling brand-specific experiences where required. Agile Delivery & Program Execution • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes. • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as adoption, migration success rate, and user satisfaction. Required Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably within Retail, E-commerce, or Digital Platforms. • Proven experience managing multi-brand or multi-tenant platforms. • Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) and product lifecycle management. • Hands-on experience in writing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria. • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive consensus. • Experience working with engineering, UX, and data teams in a cross-functional setup. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in platform modernization, re-platforming, or digital transformation initiatives. • Exposure to omni-channel retail ecosystems (online, in-store, mobile). • Familiarity with headless commerce, microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns. • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Aha!, or similar product management platforms. • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data-driven decision-making.
