Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across Next.js applications, serverless APIs, and internal CLI tools with guidance from senior engineers
- Use AI-powered developer tools — including Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot — as a standard part of your daily workflow to move faster, write better code, and accelerate learning
- Contribute to integrations with enterprise SaaS platforms including Salesforce, Workfront, Workday, and Bizzabo via REST APIs and webhook pipelines, picking up OAuth flows and API patterns as you go
- Help build tools and services that empower internal teams to safely interact with enterprise platform data
- Participate in designing and implementing event-driven automation workflows using webhooks, queues, and database-backed state machines
- Explore practical applications of AI and LLM capabilities — including content extraction and conversational interfaces — under the guidance of senior teammates
- Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
- Learn and contribute to internal CLI tooling that streamlines how teams interact with enterprise platforms
Skills
- 0 to 2 years of professional software engineering experience, or a strong portfolio of personal or academic projects that demonstrate your ability to ship working software
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript; exposure to React is a plus
- Familiarity with REST APIs — you have fetched data from an API and understand how requests and responses work
- Basic comfort with Git, version control, and collaborative development workflows
- Some exposure to relational databases and how data is structured
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent self-taught or bootcamp experience
- An AI-native mindset. You actively use tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar to improve how you develop and can speak to how they make you faster and more effective
- Exposure to Next.js, serverless functions, or AWS through work, tutorials, or side projects is a plus
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, third-party API authentication, or an ORM like Prisma a plus
