This position is designed for a dedicated professional to manage and enhance health, safety, and sanitation protocols from a remote location. This is a fully remote position offering significant autonomy and the chance to shape critical organizational functions. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and procedures. Conduct remote risk assessments and identify potential hazards in workplace environments. Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees and management across various locations. Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, developing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain accurate EHS records, including training logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Coordinate with site managers to ensure sanitation standards are met and maintained consistently. Develop and implement emergency preparedness and response plans. Monitor and audit EHS performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management. Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization through proactive engagement and communication. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) management. Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory requirements. Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS programs and policies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills. Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools and EHS management software. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and influence others. Must be highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting. Experience in overseeing sanitation standards in various facilities is a significant advantage. Ability to travel occasionally to company sites for inspections or training as needed.
