They are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in migrating enterprise infrastructure to AWS Cloud, responsible for planning, designing, and executing network migrations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute migration of on-premises network infrastructure to AWS
- Configure and manage AWS networking services including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route Tables, Security Groups, NACLs, Direct Connect, and VPN
- Assess existing network environments and create migration strategies with minimal downtime
- Design hybrid cloud connectivity solutions between on-prem data centers and AWS
- Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and network security controls
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams during migration projects
- Monitor network performance and optimize cloud networking for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Develop network documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards throughout migration activities
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering
- Hands-on experience migrating workloads and infrastructure from On-Premises to AWS
- Strong knowledge of: AWS VPC, Direct Connect, VPN, Transit Gateway
- Route 53, ELB, NAT Gateway
- Network Security, Firewalls, IDS/IPS
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs
- Routing & Switching technologies
- Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar networking technologies
- Good understanding of cloud security best practices
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (Preferred)
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
- CCNP/CCIE certification is a plus
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is desirable
