Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Higginbotham is a leading provider in the insurance industry, and they are seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Senior Account Manager. This role is responsible for managing client insurance coverages, marketing new and renewal business, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Personal Lines Sales Producer in maintaining the client's insurance policies
- Acts with independent discretion and autonomy. Attends client meetings and influences decision-making on behalf of the insured
- Represents the firm in a professional manner through appearance, communication style, and demeanor
- Preparing endorsements to send to the insurance carriers
- Assisting with cancellations of policies
- Educates clients about coverages and make recommendations as needed to meet client insurance needs
- Handles renewals and remarkets as needed. Develop proposals and may present to clients
- Handles or refers insured’s questions or delegates to appropriate team member
- Actively refers clients to Benefits and Commercial Lines departments for solicitation of new business
- Maintains detailed customer records in the agency management systems (Applied EPIC and CSR 24)
- Maintains healthy working relationship with underwriters, carriers and other stakeholders
- On occasion, may work with Accounting Department to reconcile accounting discrepancies
- Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current
Skills
- 5-8 years of Personal Line Insurance experience required
- Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Designations strongly preferred (i.e. CIC, CPRIA)
- Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable
