Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. American College of Lifestyle Medicine is seeking a Project Coordinator for their Impact department. This role is responsible for supporting the execution of impact-related projects by coordinating timelines, tracking budgets, and managing documentation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the execution of impact-related projects ranging from small to large scale, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Develop, maintain, and manage project timelines, work plans, trackers, and documentation across multiple concurrent projects
- Coordinate internal efforts across departments (i.e. Impact, Marketing, Operations, Practice Advancement, Education, etc.) to ensure alignment with project commitments and deliverables
- Track project budgets, monitor spend-down, and flag variances in collaboration with the Director of Impact Operations and the internal finance team
- Proactively identify risks related to scope creep, timeline delays, resourcing constraints, and communication challenges; escalate issues appropriately, with context, and provide recommendations for resolution
- Work with relationship owners to support external partner engagement by coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and tracking deliverables
- Prepare agendas, meeting notes, action items, status updates, and any required reporting or evaluation summaries
- Maintain organized, accurate project records and adhere to impact operations processes, contributing to process refinements as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in any field
- 1–3 years of experience in a project coordination, operations, or project support role
- Demonstrated experience managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and supporting project budgets
- Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High attention to detail with clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills and sound judgment regarding when to escalate risks or issues
- Ability to collaborate effectively with differing roles, priorities, and working styles
- Comfort working with Microsoft 365 products (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.) and project management tools, including Asana
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfort working within defined scopes and taking direction from senior project or operations leadership
- Proficiency with common business and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, project trackers, shared documentation platforms)
- Ability to work independently while remaining closely aligned with manager guidance and team priorities
- Experience working in a nonprofit, association, healthcare, education, or mission-driven organization
- Familiarity with cross-functional project environments involving external partners
- Experience supporting social impact, training, workforce development, or partnership-based initiatives
