The Senior Statistics Architect you will become is the architect of the data foundation that turns raw feedback into actionable intelligence. Key Responsibilities
- Data Platform Design & Architecture: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the Cornerstone data platform that stores and processes VOC data at petabyte scale.
- End‑to‑End Pipeline Development: Build and optimize batch and real‑time data pipelines using Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to ensure timely delivery of insights.
- Collaboration with Product & Engineering Teams: Partner closely with product owners, data scientists, and agile technology squads to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Data Modeling & Metric Standardization: Create robust data models and standardized metric definitions that enable consistent reporting across the organization.
- Performance Tuning & Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and performance tuning to guarantee data accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
- Automation & Tooling: Develop automation scripts (Shell, Python) and CI/CD pipelines to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and deployment processes.
- Thought Leadership: Advocate best practices in big‑data engineering, data governance, and agile delivery within careerzynith’s analytics community.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Coach junior engineers and data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, HDFS, MapReduce) and Spark/PySpark.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing, scripting, and automation.
- Strong background in SQL and data modeling for large‑scale analytical workloads.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining real‑time data pipelines and batch processing jobs.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and ability to work in fast‑paced, iterative development cycles.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering high‑quality, production‑ready solutions.
- Effective communication skills—able to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
