Statistician Time-Series Insights Writer (AI Training)

Roles & Responsibilities
• Review time-series plots and short contextual descriptions to identify meaningful statistical patterns, behavioral shifts, and forecasting-relevant signals
• Analyze trends, seasonality, cyclical behavior, anomalies, structural breaks, volatility shifts, lag effects, regime changes, and outlier events in temporal datasets
• Produce concise, structured causal chains explaining likely drivers behind observed time-series behaviors using root cause mechanism observed impact reasoning
• Distinguish meaningful signals from noise while prioritizing the most plausible and statistically relevant explanations
• Write high-quality analytical narratives explaining how events, conditions, or external drivers likely influenced time-series movement over time
• Clearly separate evidence-based conclusions from assumptions, uncertainty, or speculative interpretations
• Evaluate temporal data visualizations with precision and consistency across high-volume AI training workflows
• Generate structured forecasting-oriented training examples and evaluation content for AI reasoning systems
• Follow detailed project rubrics and quality guidelines to ensure outputs remain accurate, coherent, comparable, and easy to evaluate
• Support AI model improvement through annotation workflows, forecasting evaluations, analytical writing, and structured documentation
Requirements
• Education: Educational and/or professional background in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Econometrics, or a closely related quantitative field
• Strong proficiency in time-series analysis and forecasting concepts including trend analysis, seasonality, structural breaks, anomalies, lag effects, volatility changes, and regime shifts
• Familiarity with forecasting methodologies such as ARIMA, SARIMA, anomaly detection, and statistical signal interpretation
• Excellent English writing skills with the ability to produce concise, structured, and analytically rigorous explanations
• Strong analytical reasoning and pattern recognition skills when interpreting data visualizations and temporal behavior
• Ability to form plausible causal explanations while maintaining clear distinction between observed evidence and inferred assumptions
• Comfortable evaluating statistical patterns across diverse domains and identifying meaningful drivers behind observed behaviors
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in applying evaluation rubrics and analytical standards
• Previous experience with analytical writing, forecasting, statistical modeling, research, AI evaluation, annotation, or data interpretation is strongly preferred
• Domain expertise in areas such as Healthcare, Climate/Oceanography, Economics & Finance, Cloud Operations, Transportation, or related fields is a strong plus
• Familiarity with AI systems and tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar platforms is preferred
