Virtual Therapist Job Description
Moments Matter Therapy is looking for a compassionate and motivated Therapist to join our team for a virtual role to serve communities in North Carolina. This role is open for either a full time (20+ sessions weekly) or part time (12+ sessions weekly) therapist.
Therapist Job Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual therapy to clients using HIPAA compliant telehealth program provided by Moments Matter Therapy
• Create and maintain treatment plans and documentation
• Participate in case consultation and occasional team meetings
• Cultivate a caseload based on your strengths and passion areas
• Integrate trauma-informed and evidence-based practices
We handle marketing, referrals, and billing so you can focus on what matters: your clients and your craft. Our team culture encourages transparency, flexibility, and genuine connection — both with clients and one another.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy
• Active North Carolina license as LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT
• Experience providing outpatient therapy to adults, teens, couples or families
• Preference given to candidates with a clear clinical niche and interest or experience in trauma-informed care (e.g., EMDR, IFS, Brainspotting, Somatic Therapy)
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional growth
• Availability to provide virtual sessions at least 3 days per week in North Carolina.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working both independently and collaboratively.
