**Job Summary**
We're seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Concierge Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, navigating complex healthcare systems, and resolving issues with ease. **Responsibilities**
As a Concierge Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Responding to telephone and email inquiries from clients and providers within defined service standards
* Negotiating with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out-of-network providers
* Assisting clients with benefits and healthcare questions
* Documenting all calls received in system-based call log
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
* Staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to provide expert guidance to clients
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, with 2 years of college or higher education preferred
* At least one year of experience in customer service or call center roles, preferably in a healthcare-related setting
* Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience is a plus
* Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus
* Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications and strong computer skills
* Excellent data entry and typing skills
* Knowledge of provider organizations and networks
* Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
* Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures
* Strong analytical and research skills
* Medical terminology knowledge
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with claim processing, insurance verification, or pre-certification
* Understanding of Self-Funded health benefits
* Provider office/facility billing department or financial area experience
* Strong analytical and research skills
**Work Environment and Physical Demands**
This role is a remote position, requiring prolonged sitting in front of a computer. You'll need to have hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including computers and phone systems.
**Compensation and Benefits**
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
* Hourly rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
