Nottingham City Council is seeking a detail-focused Data Administrator to join their Sustainable Energy Team within Housing Services. The role involves managing and maintaining asset data, producing reports, and supporting customer-focused Asset Management programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain asset data across multiple systems
- Inputting and validating information from a range of sources
- Resolving data issues
- Helping to continuously improve processes
- Produce reports and insights to support decision-making
- Respond to a high volume of enquiries from customers, colleagues and contractors
- Help coordinate appointments and documentation in line with legislative and organisational requirements
- Contribute to delivering excellent customer experience
- Promote equality, diversity and inclusion
- Achieve value for money
- Support the wider team with administrative tasks, financial processes and meeting coordination
Skills
- Strong IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent verbal, written and numerical communication skills
- A high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
- Effective communication skills with a clear customer-focused approach
- Demonstrable ability to analyse data and identify trends to support decision-making
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently, show initiative, and contribute positively as part of a team
