**Job Responsibilities**
As a Compliance Analyst at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting the Finance management and oversight of compliance within our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the development of a framework for continuous assessment of risks at arenaflex finance
* Collaborating with the legal and external teams to implement and comply with new regulatory changes relevant to arenaflex Finance
* Monitoring the testing of Internal Financial Controls (IFCs) as described under the Companies Act 2013 associated with Corporate Finance
* Assisting initiatives within the finance teams to ensure that internal/external audit observations are addressed and critical actions are taken within dedicated timelines for the closure of the observations
* Supporting STPI-SEZ statutory compliance with daily activities
* Managing the GRC tool in Archer, which may involve evaluating compliance with Finance; Treasury; Tax, HR – Payroll & STPI & SEZ compliance, including but not limited to:
+ Ensuring that withholding taxes are deposited in accordance with statutory timelines
+ Ensuring compliance with various Customs-related Acts, GST, MSME, Companies Act, etc.
+ Ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act 2000
+ Partnering with the FAR team, HR, and legal teams to ensure all Human Resources-related statutes (e.g., Provident Fund; Gratuity; Payments of Bonus Act), etc. are complied with
+ Reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures and assisting in physical verification of fixed assets
+ Building and evaluating RACI and assisting teams within Corporate Finance
+ Assisting team members in compliance with Information Protection Policies and data control of the company
+ Preparing a compliance dashboard for management to provide and update on Operational and Compliance status
**Reporting/Working Relationships**
As a Compliance Analyst, you'll report to the Sr. Manager Finance Compliance and work closely with the finance pyramid team members and other key stakeholders.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A college degree in accounting
* Preferably a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary with 1-4 years of post-qualification work experience from a reputable organization or auditing firm (ideally audit practice/compliance)
* Preferably having expertise in indirect taxation/STPI & SEZ/HR law expertise/FEMA
* Strong analytical skills with a keen interest in detail
* Good communication skills
* Proficiency in primary accounting systems
