The Opportunity: Remote Customer Advocate Phone Specialist
We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Customer Advocate Phone Specialist to join our remote team and serve as a vital point of contact for healthcare customers throughout Arizona. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service via inbound phone support and written correspondence to healthcare customers across Arizona
- Identify, research, process, resolve, and respond to customer inquiries with accuracy and empathy
- Provide clear explanations of complex healthcare topics including:
- Contract benefits and coverage details
- Changes in coverage and policy updates
- Eligibility requirements and enrollment processes
- Claims status, processing, and resolution

- Document customer interactions and update records in multiple system applications
- Collaborate with internal departments and external providers to ensure comprehensive resolution of customer inquiries

- Meet performance standards for quality, quantity, and timeliness of customer interactions
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare customer service, claims examination, medical office administration, call center operations, or a related healthcare field
- Intermediate proficiency with computer systems and software applications
- Arizona residency with the ability to work fully remote within the state
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
- Strong active listening abilities to understand customer needs and concerns
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in all customer interactions

- Hourly rate of $20.00
- Up to 12% annual bonus based on corporate goals and individual performance
