Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences, and we're looking for like-minded individuals to join our crew. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the front-of-house, back-of-house, and outdoor areas * Operating a Point of Sale system, handling cash and credit transactions, and providing change to customers * Preparing daily paperwork, handling lottery, money order, money transfer, and other retail transactions * Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, manage inventory, and maintain a positive store atmosphere * Maintaining a high level of product knowledge, including ingredients, nutritional information, and preparation methods * Participating in visual merchandising, including setting up displays, maintaining signage, and ensuring a visually appealing store environment * Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all safety and loss prevention procedures, and reporting any incidents or concerns to management **Mental Capabilities** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal direction and supervision * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process transactions, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized store environment * Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment **Physical Ability Requirements** As an Experienced Customer Service Associate, you'll need to be able to: * Stand, stoop, and/or walk for an entire shift, with the ability to bend at the waist and twist * Clean interior and exterior areas, including trash disposal, bathrooms, and spills * Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects with hands continuously throughout the day * Climb a ladder on occasion to store or retrieve materials or to hang signage * Lift and carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist on occasion * Routinely lift and carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead (stock shelves, cooler, etc.) * Push and pull with arms at a force of up to 20 pounds (mopping, using hand truck, etc.) **Operation of Equipment** As an Experienced Customer Service Associate, you'll need to be able to: * Efficiently utilize all equipment in the store, including Point of Sale systems, fuel tanks, and dispensers * Maintain property and equipment to ensure customers and employees have a safe environment in which to work and shop * Follow all Company Safety and Loss Prevention procedures, including wearing appropriate safety equipment **Essential Qualifications** To be considered for this role, you'll need to possess: * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to communicate orally and in writing in the English language * Ability to work an assigned schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Reliable transportation to and from work * Legally eligible to work in the United States **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: * Previous customer service experience in a retail or food service environment * High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on business, marketing, or a related field * Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions and manage inventory * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
