**Job Summary**
We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our Inbound Call Center team as Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you will be responsible for handling incoming telephone requests from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators, providing technical and emergency damage prevention services. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in delivering a positive experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Answer inbound calls from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators, following scripted questions to gather information about their work site
- Obtain and record accurate information about customers and their work sites, using a ticket format
- Utilize a mapping system similar to Google Maps to identify work sites and ensure accurate data entry
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with peers and management to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
**Essential Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to listen and problem-solve effectively
- General computer skills, including proficiency in data entry and mapping systems
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a home or office environment
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Willingness to work overtime based on business needs
- Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
- Experience with mapping systems and data entry software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with public safety and damage prevention services
