**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Part-time Customer Service Associate to join our remote contact center team at arenaflex. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for responding to and resolving inbound customer requests related to bank products and services. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and support to our valued customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Respond to and resolve inbound customer requests related to bank products and services via phone, chat, and email
* Provide professional and courteous customer support, consistently meeting or exceeding agent metric standards for calls handled, adherence to schedule, ready/not ready time, and customer satisfaction
* Learn and maintain knowledge of deposit, loan, and digital banking services, as well as other banking products
* Quickly and accurately assess the urgency of customer requests and prioritize accordingly
* Resolve customer issues and complaints involving both confidential and financial information
* Serve as a liaison between customers and other bank departments and vendors
* Provide continual feedback about the usability of our services based on customer interactions
* Perform general clerical duties, including operating various departmental equipment, filing, answering phones, taking messages, and handling detail work
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or GED
* Minimum of one year of banking or financial services experience in a customer service role
* Previous contact center experience preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and retain customer relationships
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality
* Strong organizational and prioritizing skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to type with speed and accuracy, and operate standard office equipment, including phones, computers, and peripherals
* Strong time management skills, with the ability to work a flexible schedule and adjust hours as needed
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with Microsoft Office products, web browsers, and operating systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify customer concerns or needs and recommend best solutions
* Ability to work outside of normal banking hours and adjust to changing schedules as needed
* Experience working in a highly regulated industry, with a strong understanding of banking policies and procedures
