They are seeking an Onboarding Specialist for seasonal hires to ensure efficient onboarding through the Workday platform and support new hires during their initial employment period.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the end-to-end Hire and Onboarding process for seasonal employees, ensuring all necessary documentation and tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Guide new hires through the completion of necessary paperwork and electronic forms in Workday supporting them with any questions or concerns they may have
- Monitor and track the progress of background checks and onboarding activities, ensuring deadlines are met and records are accurately maintained in Workday
- Serve as a point of contact for seasonal hires, fostering open communication and a supportive environment during their initial employment period
- Ensure adherence to company policies, employment regulations, and documentation requirements during the onboarding process, maintaining accurate records in Workday
- Partner with team members to manage the Onboarding Support Team inbox, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to employee and candidate inquiries
Skills
- Proven experience in HR, or Onboarding processes, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using Workday or similar HRIS platforms for onboarding and data management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse teams to achieve common goals
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and seasonal fluctuations
- Flexible availability July to December, ability to work Saturdays as needed
