Our team is dedicated to providing outstanding service, and we are seeking like-minded individuals to join us in this mission. **Why Work at arenaflex?** * **Amazing Employee Flight Privileges**: As an arenaflex employee, you'll enjoy amazing employee flight privileges within the American Airlines global network, allowing you to travel the world while exploring new destinations. * **Training and Development Programs**: We offer comprehensive training and development programs to help you take your career to the next level, whether you're just starting out or looking to advance in your role. * **Comprehensive Health and Life Benefits**: Our comprehensive health and life benefits (subject to location) ensure that you and your loved ones are protected and supported. * **Competitive Pay**: Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $14.91 per hour, with opportunities for growth and advancement. **Responsibilities** As an Experienced Airport Agent - Ramp and Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for: * **Guiding and Directing Aircraft**: Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft at the airport on the taxiway to ensure that they are entering or leaving their gate safely and on-time. * **Loading and Unloading Baggage**: Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage on the ramp, cargo/freight, and company materials, some of which can weigh up to 75 lbs. * **Operating Ground Equipment**: Drive ground equipment such as tugs to help the plane push in/out of the gate, belt loaders to help load baggage, and bag carts to deliver baggage to the claim area or the connecting flight. * **Collaborating with the Internal Team**: Collaborate with the internal team to ensure a safe and on-time departure, and to resolve any issues that may arise. * **Providing Excellent Customer Service**: Create a positive start to a passenger's trip by being the first to greet the passenger and providing a seamless check-in and ticketing experience. * **Using Reservation/Ticketing Software**: Use appropriate reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, calculate and collect any appropriate fees. * **Communicating with Passengers**: Inform passengers through all aspects of their experience with American Airlines by communicating appropriate information about their trips and belongings. * **Resolving Passenger Issues**: Listen to passengers and resolve their issues in accordance with company policies and procedures as a result of flight interruptions in a timely and friendly manner. * **Working in the Baggage Service Office**: May work in the Baggage Service Office to track the location of baggage and handle passenger questions. **Qualifications** We are seeking individuals who possess the following qualifications: * **Minimum Age**: 18 years old * **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent * **Valid Driver's License**: Possess a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver's license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role * **Ability to Work Rotating Shifts**: Ability to work rotating shifts including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off * **Flexibility**: Flexible to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary * **Physical Ability**: Must be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 75 lbs. * **Weather Conditions**: Must be willing and able to work outside in variable weather conditions * **Communication Skills**: Ability to communicate in a clear, polite, and friendly manner * **Language Skills**: Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language * **Authorized to Work in the United States**: Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship **What We Offer** As an arenaflex employee, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including: * **Competitive Pay**: $14.91 per hour * **Comprehensive Health and Life Benefits**: (subject to location) * **Training and Development Programs**: Comprehensive training and development programs to help you take your career to the next level * **Employee Flight Privileges**: Amazing employee flight privileges within the American Airlines global network * **Opportunities for Growth and Advancement**: Opportunities to advance your career and grow with the company **How to Apply** If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
