**Job Summary**
As a Customer Relations Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers through email-based communication. You'll be the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries, and your goal will be to resolve issues promptly and efficiently. This is a part-time, remote position that requires flexibility, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Relations Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Responding to all email, social media, voicemail, and Slack messages in a timely and courteous manner
* Investigating, testing, and resolving customer issues in a prompt and efficient manner
* Processing refunds and compiling and submitting chargeback disputes
* Escalating issues where necessary and collaborating with the team to resolve complex problems
* Meeting with the supervisor and team members via video conferencing on a regular basis
* Satisfactorily meeting performance and response metrics
* Documenting customer issues and creating bug tickets, where needed
* Occasionally assisting with testing sites before and after updates
**Required Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
* 1+ year(s) of experience in a dedicated customer support role (experience in food service does not count)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent grammar and spelling (most of our customers are teachers!)
* Self-motivation and self-direction
* Ability to participate in virtual and video meetings
* Experience with remote work preferred
* Experience in banking or handling payment transactions preferred
* High technical/web literacy
* Experience and interest in writing preferred
* Reliable, high-speed internet connection
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
* Experience with Slack, Groove, Jira, Trello, Google Drive, and Stripe
* Strong writing skills and experience in a tech company
* Familiarity with customer support software and tools
**Time Frame and Compensation**
The anticipated start date is October, and the compensation for this position is $20 USD/hour. As a part-time employee, you'll work every other week for approximately 10 hours per week during the fall-winter-spring season and 6 hours per week during the summer season.
