**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team as a Live Chat Support Representative. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers via live chat on our clients' websites and social media accounts. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing timely and effective support to customers via live chat on our clients' websites and social media accounts
* Responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to senior team members
* Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
* Meeting or exceeding performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
* Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 1+ year of experience in customer service, preferably in a live chat or call center environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
* Availability of 10+ hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools
* Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCEP)
* Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in multiple languages
