**The Role**
We're seeking an experienced Director, Data Analytics to join our Store Mechanization and Development team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for developing a set of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives. You'll work closely with our leadership team to define metrics, design and implement data pipelines and dashboards, and report progress towards our goals on a regular basis.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Identify and analyze business issues within your domain, challenge assumptions, and develop recommendations to address these issues
* Assess proposed business cases for initiatives and projects, translate business requirements into solutions, and align the team to the business strategy while executing expectations
* Develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improvement
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines and dashboards
* Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
**What You'll Bring**
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science
* Proven experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field
* Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and big data tools (e.g., Hive)
* Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker) and workflow management tools (e.g., Wind current)
* Ability to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
* Experience growing new metrics to track business impact
* Experience leading a team of analysts
* Openness to building dashboards and reports that combine data from multiple sources
* Familiarity with AI and machine learning techniques
