**Responsibilities:** **LPN:** * Assess resident complaints and determine action, notifying supervisor when necessary * Admit and transfer residents to and from other units or outside sources * Administer oral and/or injectable medication and controlled medications in accordance with facility policy, and within their scope of practice as defined by Florida law * Observe for side effects or adverse effects to medication and report to assigned supervisor, or further assessment and treatment * Prepare paperwork as required for consults within facility and outside appointments * Coordinate residents appointments with unit staff to ensure medications are appropriately timed as need for resident movement to and from the unit * Provide emergency medical/psychiatric treatment within scope of practice as defined by facility and Florida law and notifying supervisor for further assistance * Complete incident reports factually and objectively, within the appropriate time frame as defined by the facility * Complete progress notes on resident care within the appropriate time frame as defined by the facility * Advocate for residents recovery and safety * Maintain appropriate and professional behavior during interactions with residents, supervisors, and other staff members * Display professionalism throughout employment including, but not limited to, arriving to work on time, maintaining an accurate timesheet, and maintaining professional appearance as defined by facility policy **RN:** * Assess resident complaints and determine action, notifying supervisor when necessary residents, supervisors, and other staff members * Display professionalism throughout employment including, but not limited to, arriving to work on time, maintaining an accurate timesheet, and maintaining professional appearance as defined by facility policy **CNA:** * Assist with all aspects of resident care as assigned by the nurse/shift supervisor, including activities of daily living, ambulation, mobility, and nutrition * Observe, identify, and report resident concerns or needs to the shift supervisor * Document information factually and objectively, within acceptable time frame as defined by facility policy * Provide safe and supportive observation and effectively monitor assigned residents * Complete assignments timely, completely, accurately and in a cooperative manner * Provide the necessary assistance when giving residents the following activities of daily living nursing care: oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming, hair and nail care, shaving, toileting, eating and drinking, and mobility * Assist with monitoring and accountability of residents to enable medical personnel to accomplish health related tasks * Display professionalism throughout employment including, but not limited to, arriving to work on time, maintaining an accurate timesheet, and maintaining professional appearance as defined by facility policy **Requirements:** * LPN: + Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire + Must hold unencumbered licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse + One year of nursing experience, strongly preferred + Must be CPR certified, or able to complete training + Must be able to complete full orientation at time of hire + Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of position including ability to lift and carry 20 lbs., remain alert while on duty, and work 16-hour shifts on occasion * RN: + Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire + Must hold unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse + One year of acute care or two years of clinical nursing experience + Must be CPR certified, or able to complete training + Must be able to complete full orientation at time of hire + Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of position including ability to lift and carry 20 lbs., remain alert while on duty, and work 16-hour shifts on occasion * CNA: + Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire + Must have a current State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license + Must have current CPR certification or able to complete once hired + Ability to speak and understand English + Ability to pass a level 2 fingerprinting + Must be able to complete full orientation at time of hire + Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of position including ability to lift and carry 25 lbs., remain alert while on duty, and work 16-hour shifts on occasion **Preferred Qualifications:** * LPN: + One year of acute care or two years of clinical experience working as an LPN + Must have current CPR/ACLS certification or able to complete once hired + Ability to preform interventions with combative persons may be required * RN: + One year acute care or 2 years clinical experience working as an RN + Must have current CPR/ACLS certification or able to complete once hired + Ability to complete interventions with combative persons may be required * CNA: + Ability to stay alert for up to a 16-hour
