<p><strong>About the job</strong></p> <ul> <li>Position: Marketing Specialist – SEO</li> <li>Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern Time</li> <li>Salary range: USD 1800- 2300 per month based on experience</li> <li>Location: Remote (preferred: open)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Role Summary</strong></p> <p>The Marketing Specialist — SEO has broad digital marketing knowledge with a strong expertise in SEO. Their primary responsibility will be to support clients with on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO enhancements, and keyword-targeted content recommendations to drive organic visibility and rankings. The right person will also have a broad understanding of digital marketing and the ability to perform basic cross-functional tasks within SEO and content marketing.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Conduct keyword research and mapping<br /> Optimize site structure, metadata, and content for search engines<br /> Implement technical SEO improvements (site speed, crawlability, schema, etc.)<br /> Monitor rankings, organic traffic, and performance metrics<br /> Execute competitor analysis and content gap analysis<br /> Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles<br /> Build and maintain a strong local SEO presence<br /> Recommend content opportunities to support SEO strategy<br /> Collaborate with the Content Specialist for SEO-friendly copy<br /> Make recommendations to the project manager and client for key optimization tactics<br /> Execute tasks accurately and on time<br /> Build reports and maintain client-facing dashboards and workbooks<br /> Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine trends and best practices</p> <p><strong>Skills & Experience</strong></p> <p>5+ years in SEO execution<br /> Strong understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog<br /> Proven track record of improving search visibility and rankings<br /> Comfortable in a client-facing role<br /> Experience working with US-based small and mid-sized businesses<br /> Experience with SE Ranking software is a plus</p>
